The Met Gala 2016: Worst Dressed List

A host of stars gathered in New York City for the annual bash – but who failed in the style stakes this year?

It’s fashion’s most over the top evening that sees some of the world’s finest couture creations being paraded down the red carpet.

But in a sea of glittering couture, stunning sequins and futuristic metallic designs to fit with this year’s Met Gala theme – Manus x Machina-theme: Fashion in an Age of Technology – there was also a very long list of fashion fails.

Topping that list included a bum-flashing Madonna, a frill-wearing Solange, and Lady Gaga who appeared to forget her trousers altogether.

Irina Shayk, who usually commands full attention in her red carpet looks, also failed to wow in a floaty pale blue frock as she walked the famous museum steps.

Madonna, 57, made sure she had all eyes on her – and her bum – at the annual bash. While most stars dazzled in sequins and floor length frocks, Madge opted for the revealing sheer lace look.

As well as her boobs, the star also had most of her peachy rear on show in the sheer black Givenchy look.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga took hit the red carpet in a bizarre silver corset-style leotard at the 2016 bash, flashing her bum in the revealing one-piece.

The star went for her usual dramatic look in the skintight number, wearing a silver tiny jacket over the top and almost flashing too much as she added fishnet tights to the ensemble.

Towering above her fellow stars, the blonde beauty wore the biggest shoes we’ve ever seen, flaunting every inch of her legs and more.
