Despite a rift in the Spice Girls camp, Mel B insists a reunion tour will take place.
The 41-year-old, who has fallen out with former bandmate Mel C, 42, and showed fans they were at odds by recently un-following her on Twitter, says the show must go on.
“It’s our 20th anniversary, so we’re going to do something,” says Mel, who has been in the studio working on a new song with fellow Spices Geri Horner, 43, and Emma Bunton, 40.
“We’re just trying to figure that out right now. There will be something happening.”
“One rumour that’s definitely not true is that there’ll be a joint tour with 90s US group The Backstreet Boys.
“We want the stage to ourselves if we’re going to do it!” she adds.
“But, I love the Backstreet Boys. They’re great.”
Mel also slammed recent claims made by former bandmate Victoria Beckham – who is also unlikely to join the reunion – that her [Victoria’s] microphone was switched off during Spice Girls concerts.
“She wishes it was turned off!” says Mel.
“We sang live, and we wrote and recorded all our music together live and we performed it live. It wasn’t turned down. Maybe she secretly asked for that. I don’t know about that.”
When the girls do hit the road again, Mel says she already has the outfits sorted.
“I have kept everything!” she admits.
“I think I still have probably 80 per cent of all my outfits. I used to get like two or three different copies and colours because I was obsessed with my style back then.”
